The historic Tuscan estate reveals itself as a refined place, among the Albizi Places. Founded in 1141, thanks to a new generation of winemakers who are carrying the traditions of their ancestors into the new era. In the 1,200 hectares of property comprising 240 hectares of vineyards and 26 olive groves, in the municipality of Gaiole, between Florence and Siena, marked by its hilltop medieval defensive fortress, Brolio produces exquisite organic red wines with a close dependence on Sangiovese grapes and traditional methods that preserve the style and philosophy of the founder Count Bettino Ricasoli.
