Picnic

A few kilometres from Villa Albizi enjoy an exclusive day through the circular vineyards of the Tenuta di Arceno. A visit to the winery, a tasting before sitting on the ground for a real picnic. Albizi in Arceno offers a harmonious Picnic-menu inside endless vineyards, You will then walk along the monumental avenue of cypress trees to reach the location of the Picnic, a suggestive clearing in the grove of the Estate, surrounded by vineyards, in a place reserved exclusively for you.

Arrival in the cellar, after a first welcome and presentation of Tenuta di Arceno, we will make a toast with the Chianti Classico DOCG Annata, followed by the delivery of the picnic basket.

Cold cuts and cheese, vegetable omelette and dry cherry tomatoes, puff pastry with vegetables, sandwich with Finocchiona, Salame IGT or with Porchetta, special Bread cooked in a wood oven, Chianti Classico DOP Tenuta di Arceno olive oil and cantuccini, 4 each + the IGT Tuscan il Fauno blend of Bordeaux blend, 1 bottle every 5 people.

Walk from the cellar, about 300 m, walking through the La Curva vineyard, dear guests, you will reach the grove, where  you can enjoy theyour Picnic.

The Tenuta Arceno is a true splendor. From the early 1800s the Piccolomini family, one of the most illustrious families of Siena, created the splendid romantic gardens, the lake and the open-air structures that still present themselves today. Continuing his family ownership history, Tenuta Arceno was acquired by Jess Jackson and Barbara Banke in 1994
